Hoas Maps
HOAS is a foundation for student housing in the Helsinki and Uusimaa region. Providing, constructing, maintaining and facilitating over hundred rental buildings with thousands of apartments for students who are studying full time at schools of secondary level education.
Norr researched, conceptualised and developed a browser based digital map service to meet multiple client challenges and needs. Foundation of the service is a full screen view of Helsinki and Uusimaa region, displaying Hoas Housing. With many additional features and intuitive search functionality the service is functional and easily accessible to discover areas and services around Hoas housing. With the built in admin controls and content management system, Hoas employees can add, edit and manipulate multiple points of interests and third party connections to the map.
As a geo-location based digital service, providing a bird view of the nearby services and public transportation as points of interest close to the student housing. Hoas Maps is a meaningful map service for both applicants, tenants and Hoas employees. The service gives users an easy way to view rental housing offerings, stores, schools and much more in Helsinki and the Uusimaa region. With built in customised and easy to use admin controls and content management systems, Hoas employees have easy access to control content.
